I’m an architect, educator, and researcher—and I wear all three hats with passion.
After earning my B.Arch with honors from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 2007, I spent years working in architecture firms in Israel and London, gaining experience across a wide range of projects.
In 2018, I decided to chart my own path and founded Or Regev Architect, an independent design studio focused on thoughtful, well-crafted architecture and interior design.
In recent years, I’ve also joined the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where I teach architecture studio courses and mentor students. I’m also a lecturer in interior design at Studio 6B School of Design, where I help aspiring designers translate ideas into space.
Alongside teaching and practice, I conduct research at the Architectural Visual Perception Lab (AVPLab). My academic work explores how the built environment affects cognitive and emotional well-being. Using tools like virtual reality, I investigate how spatial features such as window size, desk orientation, and room proportion shape how we focus, feel, and perform.
At the core of everything I do is a belief that design matters, not just in how it looks, but in how it supports people’s lives, behaviors, and experiences.
